Speech & Language Therapy

"Communication difficulties affect all aspects of life for stroke survivors and their families, friends and carers.
They often have devastating effects on a stroke survivor’s independence, work and relationships." - RCSLT

"Following my stroke I was unable to communicate at all,
but this has improved within three weeks thanks to speech therapy." - RCSLT

If you are experiencing speech, language, swallowing or breathing difficulties (aphasia and dysphagia), a Speech and Language Therapist will analyse your problems and put in place an appropriate therapy programme for you.
