It can take be stressful and take some time to adapt to the 'new' you, both for yourself and those around you.

Link to Connect website Connect offers a counselling service for people with Aphasia, run by a person with Aphasia.
Harry Clarke, has had a stroke and has aphasia himself and offers a free service for people with aphasia and their relatives. For more details see the website by clicking the Connect symbol on the left.
